Turn your TV to Channel 7!        “Generations” is the theme of this year’s show.  If you turn your stable area TV to channel 7 you can enjoy a “Generations” video that features many of the families who have three generations showing at this year’s Grand National.

Remembering Morgan Friends

Each year at the Grand National we like to remember and acknowledge the Morgan friends who have passed away since the last Grand National.  Their names will be read after class 232 on Saturday afternoon.  If there is someone you’d like remembered, please add their name to the list in the main horse show office by Saturday morning.

Grand National Sponsors

Wow!  What a fantastic family of sponsors at this year’s Grand National.  Over 400 owners, trainers, exhibitors and farms are sponsors at this year’s show.  If you’re a sponsor and you haven’t picked up your gift bag, nametags, box seat tickets and valet parking passes, they are waiting for you in the Central Ticketing Office in Barn 1.

Seat Covers

Markel and the World Morgan Futurity are doing their best to dress up the Coliseum and keep your seats reserved!  Order your seat covers and be ready for shows next year.  Forms are available in the Central Ticketing Office.

Check out the News Of The Day online at www.morgangrandnational.com.  Submit your news, parties, birthdays or amusing happenings to TMH reporters for daily listing.

World Morgan Futurity

Visit the Central Ticketing Office to bid on a month’s training with your favorite trainer.  34 trainers have donated one month’s training, and various publications have donated 4 full page color ads.  Money earned from the silent auction goes to add to prize money and is given to the dam owners of Futurity winners that had their sires participate in the Stallion Service Auction.

Nominate your sire to the 2007 Stallion Service Auction.  Proceeds of the auction go to AMHA for marketing and promotion, to the World Morgan Futurity for bonus prize money and to Regional Horse Shows.  A bonus of $10,000 will be added in 2009 to the Futurity if a resulting breeding wins a World Morgan Futurity class.  $5,000 will be added each year.

Visit the AMHA Booth

Check in at the AMHA booth in the Coliseum for all your Morgan accessories and attire.  The Kathy Iverson jackets and sweatshirts are going fast!  There is plenty to bid on in the silent auctions, with proceeds going to the Museum and the Youth.

Pack your bags for Ireland!

The AMHI invites you to join them for an exciting and unique trip to Ireland’s horse country April 22-29, 2007.  The customized tour will be highlighting race training stables, Stud Farms, with participants even taking a ride on the famous Kilvahan Horse Drawn Gypsy Wagons.  For more info, contact Sally Wadhams at the show or at 802.985.8477.
