News From Shelburne
The Morgan Horse
Headquarters and National Museum of the Morgan Horse, are celebrating 20
years together. The original building project was a monumental undertaking
with financial support coming from all facets of the equine community.
Now 20 years later, the AMHA, the AMHI and the National Museum
of the Morgan Horse (NMMH) are firmly established within the Vermont
community and have reaffirmed their commitment to remain so. Our facility is
in need of some repairs to maintain its integrity for another 20 years and
beyond. Working together, AMHA, AMHI, and NMMH have launched a capital
campaign to address these needs. The AMHI/AMHA Building Committee has
several fundraising events planned that we think you’ll love:
1) Drop by the AMHA booth
to purchase a commemorative pin! Commissioned to commemorate the building
grand opening in 1988, these wonderful collectibles include a ruby, sapphire
or diamond and can be used as lapel pins, tie tacks or back number pins! $15
each or 2 for $25!
2) Come by the booth
for our fabulous silent auction featuring works by professional artists and
craftsmen.
3) SAVE THE DATE! AMHI/AMHA will be holding a spectacular Gala in
Shelburne on May 3, 2008! Nothing beats the vistas of Shelburne and the
Adirondacks in the Spring, so mark your calendar to attend! |
